to the Houghton Family Photo Albums
This page is being developed to
contain photos of family members past and present. We
now have an interactive page for you to post photos. I will continue to
post permanent record of photos on this page. However, please use the new link to access
"Yahoo Groups" Houghton
Family Group Site as your new photo album support page as a means of
posting your photos that you wish to share with the family.
To post your own photos where they can be shared with the family.
Place your photos in the photo database. You may post or view a photo in those folders.
Please share photos but whenever possible post group pictures to minimize space.
This will enable us to be more efficient. We are not limited to the number of
photos in an album but we are limited to a total of 30 MB. If photos are small
(approx. 3x5) we may get 200 ea. if larger it may only be a couple of dozen. So
lets keep them small. I want to place photos of the older generations on the
Houghton Family Page where I am not limited to space. You will need to
designate a new folder for your family down line. These photos are personal
treasures of individuals who have generously shared them so
that other family members might have access to them and enjoy them as well. The
photos are in a digital format and can be viewed, copied and/or printed for your
personal use or enjoyment.
You must be registered as a Houghton Family group member
to access or use the new Yahoo
Group Feature. You will be approved by myself after I know who you
are. You complete
the registration information requested on the screen and you will be
added to the group if approved. The site is confidential and no one outside of the
peripheral Houghton Family will be approved. The group is not even listed in
Yahoo listings. This way we can keep it restricted to the family and as
confidential as you can get on the web.

Currently the number of photos
received is low. If you have photos that other family members might be
interested in, please send us a digital copy. If you don't have that capability,
I will scan them into the computer and save them as a digital file. I will
protect and return any photos I receive.
