Married: ?? ??? 1887  Joseph married Mary Tubb, Specifics unknown. Dates in conflict. If Frank was 11 it would be 1884. If Oscar was 8 it would be 1886. Both examples are stated in Dave's Narrative.
Died: 6 Mar 1906 It is said that Joseph died age 69 of a stroke at Son Wyman's home in Weatherford, Parker Co., TX. But there is no record of his being buried in a cemetery in Parker County or his death recorded in the local newspaper..  ????  Where is first wife buried, 2nd wife? Were there other children?

Narrative: * 14 Aug 1862  Joined Union Forces Civil War, Co. K 105th Illinois Infantry.
* 17 Jun 1865  Discharged Washington, D.C., given a pension for a war-time disability.
* 1870 Census: Farming in Mayfield Township, Grand Traverse Co., MI (2 Children born in MI.) Sherman (b. 1867) & Wyman (b. 1868) Also born (? where) prior to coming to Texas was: Also born in MI.: Fredwin 1870 & Frank 1873.
* 1876 Joseph and Family leave Michigan for Texas.
* Nov 1879   Wife Mary Jane died age 34 of Typhoid Fever in Cleburne, Johnson Co., TX.  She left children ranging from 1-13 years old.
